Multiply enters Packnorth Award with a packaging series for Marmacén

Multiply has decided to enter the Packnorth Award 2026 with packaging created for Formarkivet’s Marmacén product series.

By producing the packaging from 100% recycled FSC-certified fibreboard, without any paper covering, material consumption and environmental impact are kept to a minimum without compromising Formarkivet’s desired visual expression. Multiply’s unique production technology for rigid packaging makes it possible to achieve the customer’s requirement for exceptionally sharp corners. The deliberate use of embossing and dark silver foiling makes the packaging stand out while maintaining a timeless aesthetic.

The internal inserts complement the exterior of the packaging. They are made from specially manufactured corrugated board laminated with liner from the same mill that produces the fibreboard material, which is also made from recycled fibre.

Overall, the packaging is regarded as a marketing asset and design element rather than a necessary cost. It complements the product and is actively used in Formarkivet’s marketing of Marmacén Home Scent Packaging, a product series and packaging concept launched in 2025.

The packaging is primarily made from recycled materials and is recyclable through established paper and board recycling streams. The limited amount of metal foil used for decorative details does not affect the packaging’s recyclability. In other words, it is almost 100% recyclable, according to Multiply.

The packaging has therefore been entered in the Circular Packaging category.

2 September is the final deadline for entering one or more packaging solutions in the Packnorth Award 2026.
